SEPT 2024
Back from our summer break. This evening David brought along his collection of coloured top ginger beers. Very impressive. Job these days to find so many coloured lips.
On the finds table was this lovely condition large size Doulton Dewars Perth Whisky, which Bryan picked up at a local auction. He also brought along the green Nicholson codd which he bought at Elsecar. His 3rd item on the table was the lovely small size Nicholson dumpy seltzer.
Dave brought along the 1/- deposit blue pictorial syphon Alabaster London.
The small size stoneware barrel dated 1866 was Micky's find.
The J Schofield codd was another Basingstoke codd to add to Bryans collection.
The coloured lid, with no title on front, was bought in the shop at the local rubbish tip. Got a chip on the inner ring but quite unusual to find there.
Royston brought along the old brass cigar cutter.
Anita brought the Silver Bullet game where you have to move the ball from one end to the other without going down a hole.
