OCTOBER 2017

First up on the finds table is the mini Inverness flagon. This was one of Anitas finds. The original Grigor distillery was apparently started in 1846, although this flagon is much much later. Eric dug the fresh caviare pot back in the summer. He also brought along the small tin of Bifurcated Rivets from an antique shop in Scotland.

Steve made an Ebay purchase of the green medium sized DAY SON & HEWITT CHEMICAL EXTRACT for animals. Dave picked up the large pontilled paper weight and the Doulton MARTINS EAST GRINSTEAD ginger beer at a car boot sale.

The ALLEN & SONS BASINGSTOKE ginger beer, with belt, is quite a scarce item. Eric got it from a farmer whose pigs had apparently unearthed it in the woods.

The other stoneware bottle RALPH MILNER, SURGEON,LATE EDMUND TAYLOR, OLD FIELD LANE, SALFORD was found by Steve in a box of misc stoneware in Roy Morgans antique shop on IOW.
