Last meeting before the Alton bottle show. It is all fully booked and just hope the weather is good.
On the finds table half a dozen syphons, 5 Taylor of Stainesand 1 Stansfield of Ripley, that Bryan was selling off for a fiver each.
The 2 blue bottles the left one a HYDE GI FLEETS LONDON and the right hand one enbossed TOUCHING OF HEARTWARMER. The small sink with name BAIRD & TATLOCK LONDON was an interesting item which Royston brought along.
The hot water bottle GEORGE MENCE SMITH SOUTHWARK STREET LONDON.
The wooden box is Daves late 19th century LIQUEUR GINGER BRANDY. HENRY PRATT LONDON. The interesting part is the front is a paper label which has survived all this time.

The 2 small pots were bought at an antique shop by Judy. The label on the first is difficult to read.
John brought along the dumpy seltzer LANGTONS IOW NEWPORT.
Dave also brought along the combined codd opener and cork opener.
Finally the broken FARNHAM UNITED bottle which Neil found in the garden of his new residence. Quite a few broken bits there and so he will soon be diogging them up.

The evenings competition was for a pub jug;

The runners up were Mick, George, Judy, Graham, Eric and John

The next meeting will be on Weds 27th March when we will hold our £1 a ticket connoisseurs raffle. The competition is for a bottle embossed with an animal.
The will not be a meeting in April.
